Pre-Operative and Post-Operative Instructions for breast lift
Pre-Operative Instructions for breast lift
- There is very little preparation required.
- The patient needs to wash their shoulders, armpits, and arms with antibacterial soap the night before surgery and the morning of the surgery before coming to the surgery center.
- Avoid aspirin and aspirin-related products for two weeks before the surgery.
- Arrive at the surgery center with an empty stomach; no food or drink after midnight.
Post-Operative Care for Breast Lift
- The most important issue after breast lift surgery is wearing the bra all day and night for at least six weeks. After that, the longer the breast is supported, the greater the longevity of the results.
- If no drains are present, the patient can take a shower the day after surgery and apply an antiseptic solution to the incision. The bra can be removed and washed in cold water.
- For comfort, the patient can purchase a good supporting sports bra and use it.
